NEF Selected as Charity of Choice for Tanger Outlets Fort Worth Grand Opening

NEF Selected as Charity of Choice for Tanger Outlets Fort Worth Grand Opening

The Northwest ISD Education Foundation is the proud recipient of $5,000 awarded by Tanger Outlets Fort Worth at their Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting Ceremony today. The NISD Education Foundation exists to raise funds to empower teachers through innovative teaching grants, engage the community and encourage students to be future ready by providing student scholarships. Having Tanger Outlets as a partner in the heart of our school district’s 234-square mile boundaries will be instrumental. The district looks forward to this new partner in education.

Northwest ISD is one of the fastest growing districts in the state. Serving 14 communities and spanning three counties (Denton, Tarrant and Wise), has experienced fast growth nearly doubling in size the past ten years. The district adds an average of 1,200 new students each year, and that growth is attributed to the number of active housing developments and the retail and business industries in the area.
