NEF Funds Teaching Grant for Student-led Newscast

Leader-VISION: It’s a NEWstory is an innovative teaching grant funded by the Northwest ISD Education Foundation and NTE Mobility Partners to provide students at Prairie View Elementary School with the resources to create a campus studio and produce its first student-led newscast.

This grant was selected for funding by a volunteer committee during the 2018-2019 application process. Grant recipient Natalie Spann and her students were surprised during the foundation's annual grant brigade in December.
