ENGAGE is Northwest ISD’s annual Summer Professional Learning Institute. More than 1,200 NISD educators will attend and choose from 200+ learning sessions to meet their individual learning needs. Come meet our teachers and administrators!

New Teacher Breakfast

Join us as we welcome hundreds of new teachers to Northwest ISD – from first-time teachers to classroom veterans who have decided to call NISD home. You’ll be the first group to greet these educators and help make this a special event!

Convocation
Tuesday, August 4 at 8:30 a.m.
Northwest High School Arena

Kick off the 2026-27 school year at a pep-rally style Convocation with 3,000 Northwest ISD employees! This year, the event will feature a sponsor “tailgate” from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. before the event begins.
